This is mostly just hypothetical, I'm honestly starting this thread out of curiosity to figure out what it may take to do this, so please don't flame me, this is just for kicks.

Is it possible to fabricate up a half-cab setup for an FJ40, like on a blazer/bronco?
I know, the stock hard-top is awesome, and I don't think I'd ever replace it, but what would it take?

Incidentally, what fueled this idea is the place I may be moving into had some old FJ45 parts in a shed that're up for grabs, including a the fiberglass top, so it got me thinking...

Of course it can be done

All you need to do is fabricate some sort of lower wall

i think i read some where on here some chopped the hard top to the right length, and then cut their ambulance doors down and welded them together to fill in the lower gap.

My 79.....roll bar in stock location. amby doors welded and filled.
