Regarding the lugs (which I will replace at some point) , these may be the “wrong style” but they are perfectly safe. Toyota’s installed these here. The lugs are conical seat with the correct threading and length, they just done have the splined ridges which is just protects from theft better.

I don't really care whether the lug nuts are splined or not. What I do care about is the mating surface with the wheel.

There are two kinds of mating surfaces used on the conical seat lug nuts, the first is without a rotating mating surface like these:

The second is like the lugs designed for the TRD RW wheels which have a rotating mating surface:

The rotating mating surface is designed to avoid chewing up the forged aluminum wheel every time the nut is tightened or loosened.

My guess is that the lugs you have are like the first type, i.e. no rotating mating surface.

Will yours "work" for your application? Sure (assuming the mating surface is the correct angle), but not as well as those designed for that wheel.

You are correct on that part about the rotating surface. My free generic ones don’t have that which I agree is the flaw. Anyways, it’s on the list to swap out with the ones @TonyP showed below. Thanks for the link I was looking for that. We really derailed this thread with lug talk what happened to the suspension conversation? ;)

Thanks buddy. You have gold too? When I first saw the gold I was quite unsure but I have definitely grown to love it. Also amazing hiding dirt in the desert

Yep.

The roof rack is by Gamiviti. It’s a full expo rack with grid. It’s super versatile and barely any taller than the factory rack

The snorkel is a Dobinson. If I was going to do it again I’d go with ARB - the snorkel itself is fine but it’s molded for a 2008-2011 body and so on the 2013+ there are a small gap where the A pillar meets the body.

No skid plate upgrades yet. I will probably do budbuilt aluminum ones when I do.

Trail Tailor front bumper is on order. Hopefully @reevesci will have it done by the end up June (fingers crossed). I’ll do a rear in the future but holding off right now since the LC is our only vehicle and my wife’s DD and I know swinging the tire out will annoy her
