so for awhile now ive been talking to apple to figure out why the playlists i have made on my mac and sync over to the iphone have disappearing. so far i have not been able to figure out why - until now i think. Im on iphone 7s and the latest ios and latest Catalina os and sync via finder and cable w/ music from apple mostly except some burned cd's. The lists use to not disappear until recently - within the last 8 months maybe - not sure of the time line as i dont usually mess w/ bluetoothed music much. Last sun i synched the playlists back and all was good until today when i happened to have the music app up on the phone while bluetoothing to the car. as it connected, i literally got to see the lists disappear from the music app on the phone. In finder i have ckecked to sync all music and playlists.
is anyone else having this playlist disappearing issue? Anyone hear of this before?
I just set up an old iphone 5s to use as a audio player in the car while disconnecting that feature to my current 7s so i can still bluetooth the phone. so testing to see what happens w/ the 5s. tks
