It was much steeper looking in person than the pics show. I thought there was no way my rig could have gone up that. My copilot hendog (a seasoned pro) said well make it. The fj40 went up that climb with no prob. Sorry about the 4wheeler pic I don't know how to edit yet. And no. He did not make up the climb with out assistance, But the 35yr old Toyota did...

before we left Dom and I went along on a few trails our trucks wouldn't have been good for.

this spot would have taken out all my side windows

Dominick did the pic I took with your camera of your truck on three tires and the one way in the air come out or was that one the memory card was too full for?

Haaa . Say what.. I had a wheel way up in the air.? it felt like It was too. Unfortunately it did not show up when I brought up the pics up on the computer. And why in the hell would someone make a memory card that only holds 12 pics!!! Great hanging out with Danny and the Ga crew already looking forward to the next (TBA) off road trip.

How do you get your 40 back from the shipping company?

They delivered it directly to windrock camp ground. And picked it up today from windrock this am and the driver just called and said he well be here 7am to drop it off at my house. Summit trans port. Very professional, super to deal with, did what they said (big deal now days) and $ 200 less than everyone else I called. I'll deff use them in late spring when I go on my next trip out of state.

I learned a lot on this trip. What I need and what I dont. Don't need more fuel capacity.. 12+hrs of wheeling and used 1/3 tank of diesel. ( love the diesel) do need; air release valve, fire extinguisher, more recovery gear. And fresh tires, my tires turned into slicks as soon as I got into the wet stuff.

Dominic - you need mud tires if you want traction. AT's just don't cut it on the trail, as you found out!

Lol anyone want to buy my 31 AT's?

i air down to 20 lbs. made the rocky trail much smoother. seemed to help take the edge off the rocks and greatly reduce the jarring effect. id imagine LARGER tires would do even better. hummmmm
