I know, I know, you got me. I am trying to get a few on the computer today. I didn't think I could post pics until I posted more on the forum like some I have been on. No worries, they are on the way.

Here are a couple from a few weeks ago.

Nope NEVER, NEVER, NEVER done!
If you need help with the body panel resto, lemme know.
Im not a pro by any means, but Im no stranger to a rusted cruiser and have some trigger time on the sheet metal chops.

Welcome

Keith

Thanks Chicago, might need to take you up on that. Just got a set of 32x11.50 BFG A/T's put on yesterday and a sweet bucket seat set up in the back I scored from an old Jeeper in your neck of the woods. Pics are coming as soon as the :princess: puts them on the computer.

By the way, any of you Reno guys going to W.E. ROCK weekend after next?

Hi Chris, Welcome and many happy returns.

I would steer you away from the lock right in front. I don't know what if any experience you have with those, but they can make it tougher than nuts to steer - even with a saginaw PS. And turning on top of Sand Mountain will be a concern. Even the No-Slip locker is better, but if you can't go with a selectable, maybe think about something like an Auburn LSD.

The Aussie in the rear is good, but you could put that up front and live with a lock right in the rear until you can afford to upgrade. It's much easier to deal with the rear pumpkin since you don't have to mess with the front drive shaft and worm gear.

That is an understatement, we have everything from world famous rockcrawling to mulit-day desert exploration, I'm not sure you can do them all, but we are trying.:D

Im anxious to try the rubicon out. :)

Just wanted to say hi...I dont have a Toyota...
I just wanted to thank the two gentlemen that helped me out on Saturday. I have that Big blue jeep that needed some assistance to get home. I appreciate the way you stepped up and helped a fellow wheeler. I apologize but I forgot your names(one two many times havin hit my head on the cage). Anyways Im one of the owners of The Rockgods so youll always have our support if anyone needs it. Thanks again guys.

Sidenote:
It was that relay that I had pulled off...plugged the spare one I had in and she fired right up. See what happens when you wash mud off...never ever again.:bang:

Rockgods huh? You guys have some sweet rigs, I've watched some of yalls videos here and there. There is a guy here in Fallon that wheels in the Rockgods I think. I saw his rig on a video from Bronco. He has a bright green 4Runner on 35's.

Hello all you fellow nevadans. I just recently moved to Reno from a little hole in the wall town in pennsylvania called Ridgway. dont have a fj, or land cruiser, but i do own a 04 Tacoma. Grew up in vegas, and we needed to move somewhere similar to vegas, but not vegas. Dont have too many mods to the truck seeing how the laws in penn are so strict. I do belong to a club there called rocks n roost. In pa, trucks bumper cannot be any higher than 34.5" (i believe) from ground. I do have westin bar with fogs, k&n filter, flowmaster exhaust, tanneau and spray liner with dean 31" tires. Now that im back in nevada i plan on adding a fabtech 6", and cold air intake, warn winch, 33" tires with beadlocks. might take awhile but should be worth the effort. looking forward to maybe taking a run with the others.

Welcome Tim,
Don't worry about what you drive, we aren't all that exclusive about our membership.
As Spressomon said drop by one of the club meetings or join us for the X-mas tree run.
Dan
