Hi! My dad (@MDarius) said I need to register on Ih8mud and get to know you guys. He made a deal with me that if I work on our 84 Land Cruiser, Jethro, that I can drive it when I want to. We've been working on it together, but it's time for me to do some research, so here I am. I'm 15 and don't know much about cars, but I'm willing to learn. Here's a link to a picture from when we were stuck last year in the Snow.

I'm looking forward to getting to know the people on here. Thanks in advance for helping me learn all this. Hopefully I'll be able to share something useful.

Welcome! Glad you're willing to learn, it's amazing how much knowledge is needed to keep a Land Cruiser safe, reliable, and most of all, dependable. I first got immersed when we bought our first Land Cruiser new from the dealer in Las Vegas, also an '84 FJ60 - we still own it and it still runs strong. Since then I've owned another four Land Cruisers, two FJ40s, an FJ62, and an '82 FJ60. A lot of similarities between all of them, but a lot of differences to be aware of. It helps to know all of this because there are so many potential upgrades and improvements, many involving all Toyota parts. And you never know when someone else may need some technical help along the way.

Good to see you on here BJethro!

Nice to see your rig. I haven't made a build thread for myself yet. Still reading a lot of great information here.

Welcome and I'm pleased that you and your Dad have an opportunity to work on Jethro together.

Cool! I'm trying to get @BJethro on the trails as much as possible before he gets his license this summer. I figure 1 hour on the trail = 2hours on the road for practice. I'm working on adding a locked 80 series to the herd, and Jethro has a 12,000 lb winch now, so...no more stuck above the "B" in Bountiful. Ever.
