I got rid of my leased 03 BMW 330I uppon discovery of a 96 LX450 in a local repair shop with 74K miles. The owner was driving it for a while and then put it out for sale. I have been searching for a 4.5L stright six for a while since a stright six is my favorite engine. Other stright six in the garage are 95 M5 and 91 325IX. Anyway, drove it and bought it on the spot with my wife encouragement.
It has the goods: lock diff, cd player, auto climate, etc'. Besides few cosmetic things on the outside, looks like a good buy.
The garage owner have been fixing seals and leakes for free in the past months since I bought the car from him "with no leaks"

Right now we are chasing a gas leak. Not that it pours down but the car smells. Upon purchase he took the gas tank and had it repair, but I don't thing the repair is holding. Any suggestion beside a new gas tank?

Original Toyota tow hitch
CDL switch
Pin 7
Cup holder
Hand throttle
Slee light harness
On the horizen a possible OME suspension for original hight from Slee. Don't want it lifted.
