intake manifold gasket leak

mine says 'part A' on the left, 'RF7009' on the right. I think part B was the gasket(s) between the 2 manifolds. This is for a '76 2F btw.

I sold on the Remflex deal. I'll be ordering one today. I probably don't need it now but it could help avoid any leakage years down the road. You learn something new everyday you try. I love this site! Thanks to all and good luck there Island45, that truck looks sweet!

You might want to try re-torquing the manifolds before removing them to install a new gasket. Go from the center out.

I sencond this. They do tend to loosen up after 20 some years

Remflex - it fixed my crappy header/intake mismatch, and I had it machined a few years ago only to find it leaking again. Seriously - this gasket rocks!
