Trying to get the instrument panel out, need to replace some lights and fix a broken odometer(stopped working a few days ago when I pressed the trip reset) in a '93. I've watched some videos and searched around on this forum but I the resources I found had me stuck at the removal of the second panel because it extends all the way across the dash compared to just the steering area in the later models. Any help is appreciated!

Start by removing the hood and gas latch pulls. As you look up you'll see more screws. Four to remove that plastic piece. Then carefully remove the steering wheel clamshell. Pull the ashtray out and you'll see another screw. Basically just keep removing screws and pulling gently. It'll all come out pretty easy.

I've found it's easier if you remove the front seat first. Only four bolts and more room to work.
