Guys, this is super weird and I can't seem to find an answer. My instrument cluster sometimes displays the music tracks and sometimes it doesn't. It goes months working just fine then all of a sudden it only shows connected. I've asked at the dealership and of course they can't find anything wrong with it. I've unpaired, repaired, restarted, any idea what could be causing this? This is a first world problem, but I want my instrument cluster to display my music. Any idea what the problem could be?

What phone?

Have you tried a different music source?

I don't have the display in the cluster, just on the big screen. Occasionally mine will also stop showing the track info, but the music is still playing. I've also found changing to a different playlist will fix it. I use YouTube for music, my phone is a Pixel 9 Pro.

This may be in the same category of my rig sometimes only adjusting cruise speed in 2mph increments instead of 1. Totally random when it does this.. but consistent enough to be annoying.

I figured this one out!

When driving with cruise control engaged, if your current speed is within 3mph of the currently set speed, then adjustments are shown in 1mph increments. If your current speed is >3mph different from the currently set speed, then adjustments are in >2mph increments.

Hope this allays some of your annoyance

That is good info but I’m now remembering I described the quirk wrong.

It’s actually that it just skips a single whole number at random. I could be cruising along at 73 then go to increase speed and it simply won’t select 74. Straight to 75. Then 76, 77, 76, 75, 73. Doesn’t matter how gradually I adjust things. Until I turn cruise off then back on again, that specific number will not be selectable. From memory, after a power cycle of the cruise, it works as expected.

It might do this once or twice in a 2000-mile roadtrip. It does seem to happen more often in the 67-mph range, IIRC.

I used to have video of this happening. That was a long time ago though..

I just tried a different source and it works fine (spotify), super annoying that YouTube Music is so glitchy with it's connection.

I phone 16, I tried a different source and it works. Something about YouTube Music just keeps glitching.

Agreed that YouTube Music is inconsistent. Just this evening I got in my truck to come home, no track info. Had to stop to get gas, now it's fine. Weird.
