I ordered some new front turn signals from CCOT (Turn Signal Front FJ40 1ea Drivers/Left - 1/75-84) for my '78 but the connectors on the new signals aren't long enough to connect to the existing connectors. Trying to determine the best way to extend them and connect - any thoughts?

My initial thought was to just cut and splice some additional wire onto either the new signals or the existing harness (probably the new signals to preserve the original wiring); if so, does anyone know the gauge size? Looks like 16 or 18 but curious if anyone can confirm.

TIA

18 AWG. Get the correct color wire from @Coolerman.

Much appreciated, Cromagnon!
