Unless you know how to setup gears take it to someone who does. This guy covers tons of different applications with great pictures. Toyota Gear Installs
 
If you are reusing the R&P and your pinion bearings are good, set up would be just setting the backlash. Not too difficult.
 
Backlash (distance between ring and pinion), and run-out (wobble of ring gear when spinning). You also need to consider preload on the carrier bearings.
 
I've set-up a diff in the past. Just wondering if anyone's done post on installing the ARB so I'll know what to look or look out for. ARB's website is technically null and void:hhmm:
 




Since that is for an 8" mini truck differential, and the article has a banana date of 2000, you may want to try and find something more applicable to what you are going to see today, with a Land Cruiser differential and ARB install.....(yes, there were changes since 2000) :)
