So my LC is lifted by 2" and recently i have had a need to install an airbags. I plan on transporting the LC and another vehicle cross country.
I see everyone recommending Firestone blue airbags, however, i can't find these airbags installed on a lifted vehicles. Will Firestone airbags work or do I need a separate set up to compensate the 2" lift?
I know that full airbag system acts by making contact between the axle and the frame rail. Since Firestone airbags are "coil helpers" do they also make contact or do the help out by just being inflated in the coil itself which causes the coil to be stiffer for heavier loads. Meaning that the airbag doesn't have any contact with the axle and the frame, which means that the lift is irrelevant and that i can use Firestone airbags
