I recently installed a remote key fob on my 1996 Land Cruiser. I purchased the kit from a company called trail teq, the installation was straightforward I unplugged the negative terminal to the battery before I started working on the electrical. After the installation I noticed the windows and moon roof don’t work but the switch to lock the doors work and the dome light works too. I took the switch out and all the connections look fried! I ordered a new switch from Napa (140 usd) and a 30 amp oem fuse from Toyota hopefully that gets everything working. Has anyone had this issue happen or something similar? If so what did you do to fix it?
