I need to replace my input shaft bearing and would value advice on the part number and correct sizenso that I can order a replacement. On the outside of my existing bearing, which is heavily worn, I think it says 6202NK, though cannot be 100% - any advice gratefully received.

This is off a 1981 FJ40 2F engine with the number 535737.

Old rig's with lots of PO's could have anything, Pic's would help. Then there lots of online catalogs to look at. SOR.com
I have been through the repair manuals and although they mention how to replace the bearing they give no specific part numbers or spec for the input shaft bearing.

Is that 5202-ZZ NACHI Ball Bearings 15 x 35 x 15.9mm? How deep is it? I looked into this since I have a worn surface on my input shaft, so the wider bearing surface would spread the load.

Many use Koyo. There are lots of equivalent pilot bearings if you look on RockAuto from reputable brands like Timken and SKF.

He's in the UK. I don't think Rockauto ships there.

The reason I asked about the Nachi is 5202Z was suggested to me because of its larger bearing surface when I asked about a worn transmission input shaft. You'll see the condition of the input shaft in the first post of the thread.

The standard bearing looks to be 15mm ID, 35mm OD and 11 mm wide. The 5202Z is ~16mm wide which would span a worn surface.

If you have a standard bearing Koyo is probably the supplier Toyota uses. The popular Aisin clutch kit CKT-032 also comes with a Koyo pilot. The 6202 part of their part numbers seem to match SKF as far as the numerals that correspond to dimensions.

When the wider bearing is installed does it stick out of the crankshaft more? Or does it still sit flush?

For those who are not familiar with Beno, if he offers a part #, you can be pretty confident it's the correct #.

I have ordered the part number OGBeno suggested from a supplier in Italy, arrives next week hopefully. Thank you everyone for the support on this. The rebuild continues.
