So i dropped the driveshaft to get to the seal. So do i remove this giant nut to get to it or am i even going in the right direction?

and what size is said nut??
 
Unstake the nut and it's a 32mm I believe.

Make sure you drain the t-case before you take that off otherwise your going to have some oil coming out.


ok so literally had to qyit for the day after getting to this point. What do you mean by unstaking the nut?? Some type of oring that had to come off??:doh:
 
Finished the rear today. Looks like it could still drip but hasnt yet. Put a box under it so i could see if it leaks overnight. Still gotta do the front and refill case though.
 
when you remove the flange you will see where it's splined.

Before putting the flange back on pack it with some gasket sealer ( i like the orange high temp)

also cover the washer behind the nut with it. Do not put any sealer on the splines coming out of the TC or you'll force it up into TC.
