Gotta add my 2 cents on this one. I’m not interested in the high dollar stuff he is proposing, just regular old fashioned transplant work etc (which, by the way, I no longer am, gonna keep it all stock when it wears out, there’s a lot of shops that’ll rebuild engines, transmissions & trans cases) but when I was considering some major work, the least I expect from a small shop is a bit of conversation. I want to know a little bit about the person that I’m entrusting to do the work and get it right. An interview. A character assessment. Trust. Someone earlier mentioned smoke & mirrors? Frank has much to learn about doing business in Landcruiser world. Death of business pool anyone? I’ll start; 12/29/2023

I’m still taking bets on that death of business pool. Closest one to the date- 12-29-23 wins some old iron I have up in my barn, old slipper springs, a pair of worn out upper control arms, a bent lower control arm, and soon a worn out old rear driveshaft. I think scrap irons going for 20 cents a pound
