OK, I havent posted any progress in a while. Ive mostly been researching and saving up to move forward with the project.

So I sent out my Orion 4:1 on Tuesday to Georg to have it gone through. Once I recieve that back with the AA for the TH350 that ive chosen to put in, it will go up in the truck.

Im debating whether or not i need the Kickdown cable or not. This is the first automatic that Ive wheeled with so Im just going with it. After its installed we then will pull the front end and start with Rotating the knuckles, Highsteer conversion, 6 gun knuckles, Hydro assit steering. I will keep things updated as we go.
Passneger seat is mounted & just waiting to clean the bracket for the driver side. I got these Jumper style seats for the rear as well. I will be getting them reupholstered like the front seats.

I don’t have any more pictures just yet but wanted to update.
We've got another front end and threw it up on the bench. We are cutting and rotating the knuckles.
Upgrading to six gun knuckles while it’s all apart. Remounting springs, shackles, hangers & perch (possibly new springs unless these aren’t bent too bad). Bought and will be installing PSC full Hydro steering. Have the TH350 ready and shipped the 4:7 Orion to Georg for assessment and repairs. Hopefully I can get a weekend free to work on it some and get more pictures.
On another note, I would like to look into a roll cage for it and would like to see if there are any preferences on prefabbed cages. I’ve had a difficult time finding someone to build & bend a custom cage.

MetalTech has some nice cages and in my experience they're super great to deal with ...

Well things slowed quite a bit there for a while. Ive got my cruser back and will be slowly doing what i can.
I had originally planned a PSC hydraulic steering setup for it but have since changed my mind and retunred the kit.
I would like to look into running a standard GM power steering pump and can later upgrade to Hydro assist.
Question i would have is if i can use any Toyota steering box (like the one i removed from my older 1985 pickup)?
