I'm new, Help me decide if I should buy this FZJ80?

Update: Thanks for the advice and suggestions everyone. I found myself a 80. It is a 1997 with diff locks and is in great condition. I'm loving this thing right now and it drives very smooth. It does have 236K miles, but you wouldn't know that from its looks. I will post pics later after I take some :)

very little or no rust in PA.No salt on roads there.

We probably get less salt than upstate NY, but as a Pittsburgher I can say with some certainty that they salt here. Been behind the salt trucks many times :crybaby:
 
Could be your looking at a sand truck.
I bought my truck around the Harrisburg area though. They use only sand.

Ya thats what I was thinking, not wanting to argue with someone who lives next door to PA I shut my mouth. I know for certain that rust issues are far more prevalent in PA or anywhere on the East coast than in Southern California HaHa. :)

Hey, so I'm moving to Pittsburgh area soon. Any 4x4 shops that are good. What about trails or hunting areas?

i work in harrisburg, and can assure you they use salt in this area. and they put it down liberally.
