Been working at replacing my ignition barrel rod (part 7853A is the correct one, using a 7853B that I’ll end up modifying to work). Got everything done fairly smoothly up to the point where I’m trying to remove the back half of my snapped ignition barrel rod. Got the white plastic piece that’s captive on the back unscrewed about as far as I can without having to deal with actually removing the screws, supposed to be a real pain which I believe.
Been following this video which has been great up to this point. Just can’t get it to move at all. I’ve used a couple different hooks, bought the longest thin needle nose I could find on Amazon, and it’s just not moving. Any tips or things I’m missing? Doesn’t look like there are any tabs holding it that need to be depressed other than the main one im using a long thing flat head for.
