ID TRE for Scout II P/S conversion - Toyota Hilux? 70 series? (1 Viewer)

I’m hoping someone can identify this TRE.

Facts I do know:

1) it has the same size and pitch as the original Fj40 D/S TRE that attaches to the bell crank. I’ve confirmed this by screwing it into two different drag links.

2) the TRE taper matches the P/S pitman arm I have from a 9/1969 four door Chevy Bel Aire.

3) the threads on the TRE that go through the pitman arm are too large for a 13 mm open end wrench to fit over & a 14 mm wrench is loose.

4) it’s the perfect length to connect the steering everything together without a custom drag link. Off the shelf should be easier in the long run.

I got it attached to some cruiser parts 10-15 years ago. It looks like Toyota Hilux parts. The taper is much larger than my 1977 Landcruiser TREs.

I’m hoping to find a nut to complete the testing, and then ultimately replace this one and keep it as a spare.

Thoughts on application of the TRE? Nut size and pitch?

This is the closest I’ve found, but I can’t find any specs to confirm:

I’ve ordered in the above part, and I’ll know know soon if it is the 1980 Toyota Pickup D/S 4x4 TRE.
 
A parts guy with a keen eye spotted a difference the one I have appears to be this one…

I’m starting to think the best one would be the 80-81 as it would have the steering damper closer to the frame crossmember and further from harms way. The 84-85(88) would likely work out, but not quite as well.
 
80-81 is looking very promising. I believe that the original is a 84-85(or 88).
