I finally got around to pulling the rest of the rod bearings. And there it was, number 3,4 rods..... spunem both... Looks like this one will come out and get the treatment......

Hey, SHREG, what do you think was the probable cause of this disaster?

Most likely, lack of oil pressure/volume combioned with sustained (moderately) high rpm.

Hey, SHREG, are those bearings std. in size? Think this thing has been repaired once before? I read on another thread where a rod repair was made, but the rod bolts stretched and the event reoccurredjust a thought
