I'd love to see pics of 285/70/R18 set up on LC200

Anyone have a dead on front view picture of a 285/70/18 using no spacer with +18offset wheel? I might be going to this size but don’t want my suv to have the skinny tucked inside fender look.

All of @kreiten's pics earlier in this thread are 285/70R18 with +20mm offset. 2mm is not enough difference that it'd be noticeable visually

I thought he may have had spacers. I didn’t think the 285 would stick out past the fender slightly but if that’s the case...great news for me

I can get you a shot in a couple of hours, but it is not exactly +18mm. I have +25mm and 1/4" (6mm) spacers. That puts me around +19mm.

Thank you! Great photos looking photos...Any chance you took a couple of just off the corner looking towards rear 🤗 Sorry, I should have asked earlier but your wrap looks so good and just want to see more pics. 😁 I just want to see more of the stance. Thanks 🙏

Looks good and thanks again. How do you like the setup and daily drive with them? I was considering 295/70/18 or the 305/65/18 but i think your current size is the best all round size.
285/70r18 is a really good setup. I go a bit more in depth in my build thread, but on the current setup, 295/70r18 is not a good fit. I had rubbing on KDSS arm on the driver side and the rocker cover on the side.

Daily driving is good. It’s a rougher ride, but I would never complain about that. I can’t say I notice an appreciable impact to turn radius with the offsets. Overall, it is a very comfortable setup.

Just comparing the two sizes on Nittos site, the 295 is 10lbs heavier per tire. Not a light tire

You mentioned it’s a rougher ride with the Ridge Grapplers. What are you comparing it to? I currently have KO2 and they are pretty smooth on the highway and absorbs bumps well. Granted I’m on 34.5” tires “balloons” lol

That would be a comparison between the factory rubber and the E load range Ridge Grapplers.

yep, no wheel spacers just 285's on a 20mm offset wheel gets ya just outside the fender, good look!

Nice! If the 295/70 Cooper I try tomorrow still hits my kdds and or lower sway link, I’ll order a 285/70 and unfortunately my options are very limited in that size, so Ridge Grappler it would be. At some point I’ll switch out my wheels for a 17” ICON or TRD to have more tire options. A member on here thought I should stay with a larger tire because of my offset.
