I'd like to add a small floodlight that lights up and stays on for cornering when the blinkers are activated. (1 Viewer)

You know. When I signal a right/left turn, the floodlight would come on and not blink and then turn off when the blinkers stop. Any ideas?

Purchase this:

UCTRONICS DC 12V Programmable Multifunction Time Delay Relay Module

Then tap into the control wire for the blinker in order to activate the signal to turn on your floodlight. You can set the delay for the flood light to stay on for however long after the signal is activated. If you want your left/right to work independently, you will need two of these modules since the signal will be different. I use this in order to have courtesy lights turn on under my '99 when I hit the unlock button on my key.

A relay to trigger the on/off function of the flood light is the best approach, but I echo @nukegoat 's question...why?

My wife's Subaru does this with the fog lights. I thought she a burned out fog lights at one point, but it was just the car kicking one fog light on with the blinker. She now runs with the fog lights on all the time since the one light look bugged her. I've also seen Cadillacs or Lincolns that do the same thing with a white side marker light.

Find the turn signal trigger and tap into that to flip a relay for the appropriate light. Crack open the EWD and let us know what you come up with.
