This is my 2nd 100 Series and I have had it for 7 years now. A few times recently I've had to punch it while turning right from being stopped into a fast moving lane. The VSC light has come on a few times blinking and beeping at me when I have done this. It blinks and beeps for 10-15 seconds then turns off. What would be causing this? It never used to happen under the same circumstances and my first 100 never did this to me. Do I have something to worry about? Is there a sensor that is bad? It's not like I'm driving reckless, I am just getting up to speed fast to get into traffic. Thanks for any insights!

My last 100 had something similar happen years ago, where VSC would flash and beep at me, but it would also apply brake to one wheel. It only happened while turning at highway speeds though, which made the added braking part a much more fun surprise. Turned out of the rear calipers fell apart and had to be replaced. Sensor might have also been replaced, can't remember for sure because the caliper would have been the primary cause and the bigger expense.

Thanks much for the info. Exactly which sensor is it that needs to be replace and where on the car is it located?? Thanks again.

I believe front wheel bearings being out of spec can cause some funkyness with VSC light. It can also be play in the steering rack bushings

Will that bearing being out of spec also cause the KLANK when you put it in park and it rolls forward a bit? I've got that going on too!!! Thanks for any info.

I believe that's play in either your front axle and drive flange, or in the driveshaft.

when you're in there doing the wheel bearings it's not a bad time to replace the drive flanges to make sure everything is tight.
