2015 4Runner rims with 245-70-17 Firestone MT tires. Best tires I have ever owned.

LC 18s even on an LX. I am a big fan of them so I bought 2 extra sets since they are hard to find.

The NV's look great!... I happen to have a set for sale![]()
The wheels are 17" Rays Wheels. This is what they looked like. I came into the shop to find that the guys had already started prepping for paint by scuffing up the finish. I had been waffling about spraying them and had decided not to, and texted the shop, but the message had not reached down to the floor.

And rather than have them clearcoat them again, I decided to go ahead and spray the truck's body color just to see what it would be like. (The tires are General Tire Grabber 285/70/R17s.) Here's how that turned out:

The paint looks like a slightly different shade in the photos but in person it is not at all obvious.
I like how these look--it appeals to me because I could imagine this color scheme up to the end of the 80's: solid light color with matching body and rims. I need to be able to drive up to a nice hotel without feeling out of place--plus I just like that understated look. The stock color on the Rays was just a little too much.
BTW, it was the PAB shop manager, Mr. Jobin, who suggested painting the little vent at the rear a gloss black. I think it is a great touch!
