You can upgrade your original GX470 headlights with these covers.
You can also improve the light of your headlights if you change the halogen lenses to Bi-Led or Bi xenon lens modules.
In any case, even if you buy new original or DEPO headlights, they will still shine in terms of brightness and width of road lighting worse than LED or Xenon lens modules. Personally, I will soon install Bi-Led modules in my GX470, I will also change the transparent cover to a new one.
Here are some videos about upgrading the GX470 headlights. they are in Russian, but I think everything will be clear to you what the essence of such an upgrade is.

What is the price, lexan or polycrbonate? Mods, should this post be moved to the classifieds?

An installation video would be helpful.

$185, this is a plastic of the polycarbonate type, the same plastic as in DEPO headlights.

Are these the Aliexpress type covers? I have heard they don’t last too long.

the manufacturer gave a guarantee that it will not turn yellow, protection from sunlight, durable. But I covered myself with a transparent polyurethane film, so I made protection from stones and damage.

brackets for GX470 headlights. For bi-xenon hella 3R and bi-led lensed modules.

My goodness! I am shocked to see people go to such lengths. A few weeks ago, I spent $25 on a Sylvania headlight restoration kit. An hour of my time later, I have nearly factory-new headlights.

At some point your lenses will develop cracks and you’ll not be able to get them clear.

If anyone else is interested, it only seems to be cost effective (due to shipping) if 3 sets are ordered and shipped over at the same time. I'm interested in a set along with some bixenon brackets.

My last set of Depo Headlights started to fail in less than a year. Small fractures in the lens and clear pealing. I would opt for new OEM headlights, saving up and using headlight restore in the meantime.

maybe you got a marriage, many people from the states use it for more than a year and everything is fine with their headlights, the surface is just as attractive... they have positive reviews about DEPO headlights. but just in case, I covered the headlight with a polyurethane film to protect it from chipping, damage and burnout from the sun.

Of course, new OEM headlights are the best. But often even the OEM cracks at the bottom in the area of the turn signal lamp.
