Some of you already know that I submitted my resignation at my $#!TTY @$$ job. I should say, my wife and I. We both work(ed) for the same company. March 31st WAS supposed to be our last day.

Our bosses notified us yesterday, that March 12th IS our last day.

We're so happy to be free of these tards!

We're going to be moving to Coachella Valley to open a 4x shop with my brother in-law. We also started a real-estate investment business.

The shop won't be up and running for a while (more than likely in the Fall). But the real-estate side is in full swing.

If anyone needs to sell a home, or wants to get into one, let me know. We do lease options. No commissions, no bank qualifying, 50% rent credit towards purchase price and more.

Let the good times roll. :hillbilly:

Congrates Reid on the new adventure and for cutting the chain to an unfullfilling job.

Will your 4X shop sell online?

Way to go man!! That's awesome that you left and had the cajones to do so. Many people are scared to do that.

I cant quit, or be fired :( Happens when you work for family. I guess the plus side is that im taking over ownership soon.

Awesome Reid. That does take some balls and I commend you and your wife for taking the plunge. I wish you guys the best of luck in your endeavors.

I am glad you are not doing something stupid like moving to Atlanta so you can't wheel with us anymore. :flipoff2:

Thanks. It was a real burden and stress builder working for those guys. (I canceled Baja for these clowns and got no lovin').

When appreciation becomes an expectation, the fun becomes WORK.

The plan is to also sell on-line. Our market will be focused more on mainstream vehicles (to get started). Keep buying your LC parts from Kevin or your favorite vendor. I know I will.

I'm really looking forward to doing this. It's something I've wanted for a long time. I'll give more details about the shop when we get closer to opening.

WOW, good timing to move out their.... Just in time for SUMMER :flipoff2:
Just Messin', we will miss you here in the Diego of San! So I guess you will be meeting up in Borrego via the Salton Sea Hwy in the future.
yeah, It'll be hot for a few months.

Truckhaven is only about 45 minutes away. Borrego Springs, another 20.

I wouldn't move out there for any other reason than opening a shop. San Diego IS my home.

Best of luck Reid.

Actually, we are looking for a home. A Rental. Hopefully in the Tierrasanta/San Carlos area close to the 15 corridor. Possibly even La Mesa.

Are you renting yours out? I may be interested. If not, do you or anyone else know of a good rental in these areas?

Looking to have a place by the beginning of April.

Give me a call if you have anything. You should have my #. I'll send a PM if you dont.

Hopefully we'll meet up again in Borrego.

Congratulations on getting out of a job that you weren't happy at. I know firsthand how frustrating working for idiots can be. Luckily, we have a relatively new GM and he really has his $#!T together. Therefore I generally like my job now.

Hopefully your moving won't impact our ability to wheel together too much. You're one of the few that will usually do just about every stupid thing I want to do off road:D.

Gene hit the nail on the head with the DK's. There's always a little room for Jello;).

Best of luck with your future endeavors:cheers:

Good luck to the both of you. We will be neighbors...No excuse for meeting up and doing some trail rides...

Congrats Reid. The lease option market looks to be very strong for quite some time, good move.

Send me that contact info again so I can distribute it around the office.

Just wanted to remind you that you can no longer use the boss excuse for missing runs. :D

I hope you'll be doing hydrogen conversions soon, I can't afford $4 a gallon, and at $5 I'll be buying a Samurai and towing it with my Prius. :D

Good luck in your new business(s).

Im one of those people that if I had no job and enough money, I would never get bored...

Have fun trying to get bored. And good luck with your new buisnesses.

Congrats Reid. Good luck. It's a big step!!

Congrats Reid!! No more working for the man! Now your work boss and home boss will be the same . Talk about synergy. Best of luck!

What is the gas price out there? I couldn't afford to wheel anything more that my mtn. bike or roller blades even if I was out there:censor:.

But yes, I do get pretty damn jealous of all the pics from runs :crybaby::mad:.
