There is a part on ebay that I have been bidding for, in the last 5 days. Everytime I go and bid, the next screen that pops up, says that I have been outbid. So WTF? Is there some a****** out there sitting on the computer waiting for assholes like me to make a bid, just to out bid me? The part started out at $ 9.00, and I bid 10.00, and so forth.

So what I'm asking for is some ebay tips on how to win. I need the part and I need it cheap.

Oh and if anyone wants to check it out, search FJ62 and a slue junk will pop up. Of course I'm aiming to get the driver side tail light component.

Thanks,

Matt

Oh and if anyone gets any funny Ideas about how they need a tail light more than me, go get it from toyota :flipoff2: . You can probably afford OEM. I know that I can't. I'm broke and I'm in school and thats why I'm finding my crap on ebay.

throw out your highest bid

that you would pay to get what your after.
if it takes them you have a pretty good chance of getting it.
your gonna have to watch the bidding down to the wire if your that interested in it.
be willing to go a little higher at the end of the bidding.

hope this helps

lets say current bid is $6.00
somebody may have already put a bid of $15.
even if it shows $6. that bidder has probably put a max of the $15.
you need to figure out what your willing to spend on such item.

yeah someone has already bid a higher amount than you but it will not show his max bid until you bid higher.................. like bad fjs said wait until there is 15secs left and throughout all you got and that way if you do have the highest bid no one can out bid you cause time will be up........

Yeah I just won myself a nice distributor on ebay the other day. Now I will be able to get my piggy running again. But it was at 25 for a while and I dropped 30 with 22 seconds left which was high enough to beat the guy and he didnt have time to get back in if he even tried so I won.

I just got a sweet bumper end and a yakima rack tower set that way...

Bidding on the 60 in Myrtle taught me not to bid early, as others will just bid it up......

Just lay low until near the end, and pop up and snatch what you need.

yep, snipin is pretty much the way to go....
but remember, you win some you lose some; that's the price you pay.

haha, good call....
