I found the AMP plugs behind the radio. How do I do this myself?

I already have an aftermarket radio/DVD player installed. It plays low as if the factory amp is not bypassed. How do I do this myself? I found the two plugs leading from the factory amp. One is with the amp and the other is with the amp bypassed (from what I was told). FIRST QUESTION: Which plug is with the amp bypassed? The one with less wires coming from it? How would I connect the plug with the amp bypassed to my aftermarket radio? My radio currently is connected to the plug that matches the plug "with the amp". How would I conect i to the plug that bypasses the amp because they can't plugged into the same connector. Please Help!

When I installed my radio it uses a different set of plugs than the factory unit and automatically ignores the factory amp.

You should find 3 plugs behind there. The largest of the 3 is for the factory head unit that uses the amps. The ither 2 smaller ones should be the ones that you have tied into.

Then again I have no idea what you're driving other than suspecting a land cruiser. Might be helpful for you to give some vehicle details

Sorry, I have a 1996 L/C. I was trying to figure how I would go about bypassing the factory amp myself? I do see the plugs behind there that you are referring to.
