IF I decide to tow it to a shop, are there any mods that I should look at doing while the diff is apart?

Maybe add a diff filler hole strainer? :rofl: Sorry Man, couldn't help myself. I'm sure my list of :doh: things is way longer than yours.
 
This is a good endorsement for the Motive Power Fill. No way to get a cap stuck in your diff with it...

+1 on this. I've got a smaller variant I only use for the diffs and can say it is AWESOME. Just pour your diff oil in, pressurize, fill. MUCH easier than the "EZ fill" soft sided packages or pumping one handed under the car....it's not what it looks like....

Yes because I didn’t zip tie the tube to the bottle at first and it came off. But after that it was fine. Next time, I’m going to make something like an IV pole to hold a funnel with a tube.
