Been 6 months since I bought this 2003 lx 470 with 300k and made the mistake of taking it in for service at Lexus for the tune of $$$ embarrassed to say how much. Well the one thing they didn’t do was the tees and hoses. My guess was they were original. Bought the kit and special tool for the clamps. Didn’t end up using it just used long needle nose and hose pliers. Had to cut a hose and use a hose remover to dig the hoses off but I did it. Took about 2 hours start to finish. I’m not a mechanic this is not an easy job due to the angles you have to contort to. Tees basically crumbled as I took them off and hoses were distorted. Feel a lot better about hopefully putting many more miles on this guy now. Thanks to this forum for the pictures and confidence to do it.
