I'm in the middle of moving . I just changed the back rear brake line on the drivers side that runs to the center of the rear end . I replaced and bleed the master cylinder and connected back up the lines . I went to loosen the rear drivers side bleeder and I twisted it off just as it coming out of the caliper . I really thought it was turning out but it wasn't . I have to get it fixed asap because I'm taking thing out of the house and putting it into local storage . I watched a few videos and it looks like its going to be a pain in the butt to gt it out . Should I just buy another one ? Is this one good enough from advance auto ? Its a local store or is this a part that really needs to be a factory oem replacement part ? https://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p...eft+rear+brake+caliper+for+a+1997+lexus+lx450 Thanks for your help . I don't have any fluid in the brake line I replaced because I couldn't bleed it . I might need to let a mechanic to do this but I don't think I can drive it . Can I take loosen the tire side of the back line I replaced and try to pump same fluid into that line ? Would that give me enough brakes to make it to the local garage that's about 5 miles away ? IS the calipers the same for the 97 lexus and the land cruiser ?

Rear caliper is the same for LX and LC.
If you don’t have tools to extract get a reman band-aid caliper. It might be more time efficient.
Is the one I put a link to good enough or are you saying get a reman oem part ?

47750-60070-84 is a reman left rear caliper. They used to be stupid cheap.
Alternative would be to look in the part out section of the classifieds. Any rear disc brake 80 Series 93-97 will work.

You will have no brake pressure without that bleeder hole plugged.

As speed seems to be of the essance, put whatever you can find in it for now.
Digging a broken bleeder out is a PITA. Calipers are cheap in comparison to the time you'll spend fighting it.
