HZJ78 Service in Canada???

Hi guys, I am wondering if someone can help me out so I can relay the information to a friend? I come from the 80 Series world but really admire the 70's!

I ran into a woman a couple weeks ago near the Grand Canyon who was driving an HZJ78 from South America to Canada, then home to Switzerland. Very neat lady. She is on her way to Canada now and has asked me to find someplace she can get her Injection Pump and Valves adjusted, as well as a set of BFG A/T 235/85/16R. She will be somewhere in the West (BC).

I was thinking Canadian Tire for the BFG's, but it would be great if there was a shop she could get the engine work and tires all at once.


If anyone can help out I would really appreciate it!

i can think of a couple places in BC, one in Alberta...

Would be more specific but it's hard to say, she is simply traveling wherever/whenever and needs a shop in Canada, that's all she told me. Most likely Vancouver and Victoria areas.

if she's in victoria John at E-4 auto/Radd Cruisers can do that also...my parents have taken their newer trucks to him several times....does good work and should have no problem doing whatever work nessary

BFGs.... ouch! Toyos are far superior.

We can take care of her needs if we have some advance notice of what parts are required. I keep most valve shims here, as well as t'belt kits, water pumps, accessory belts, knuckle kits etc....
