Hi Guys,

I have checked the Toyota EPC for HZJ73 brake parts, the parts numbers listed are not available through toyota canada (unless the guy behind the desk messed up). I am sure it was discussed in the past that the brake components were the same as some of the older toyota pickups?

Any ideas?

Regards

The calipers on your HZJ73 should be identical to 92-95 4Runner brakes. Worse to come to worst, buy loaded calipers for the 4Runner and install those.

The front discs seem to be the same as the BJ74 43512-60040 sub 60100

I'll work on the other parts. I am just putting part numbers together for my records and might as well add them to the board part number section.

I am bringing in an HZJ73 in then next couple of months and I'm buying 2 more for myself and a friend - they almost always need brake work - so nice to know in advance what they cross with.

Thanks for your help.

Have it, looking at it, part numbers don't jive with NA numbers. I'll take another look. Thanks

Or, is there another EPC? I have the downloaded version.

AHHHH, should have known better, the idiot behind the toyota parts counter screwed up.

Here are some part numbers:

HZJ73 (same as BJ74) front disc : 43512-60041 102.50 OEM

Rear disc : 42431-60150 $205.90 OEM

RH caliper 47730-35080 601.20
LH caliper 47750-35080

Confirm these numbers before ordering. The same parts are available through jobbers - just have to find the application.

Any other part numbers for HZJ7# should be added if you have them - good for the database, I'll add them as I get them.

Regards

Hey Loius,

There is one part guy at Mendes that is useless. Everytime I call he wants my VIN and will not look up a part unless a give him one, even though I explain that my truck is imported from Japan and he will not find it in his system. Very, very frustrating to have to go through the same routine everytime.

If you ever get him again, ask for Todd (different Todd). I have found that he is very useful and willing to help find parts. He has even offered to call Toyota to find part numbers for me.

Hope this helps,
Todd

Ya, I don't think the guy even typed the numbers into his system - i just think he was an ass.

I get the same discount at Bel -air and they are closer to me - so I just go there now.

I don't know why he would treat JDM owners like s*** - we still buy alot of parts from them.

Thanks.
