HZJ73 Axles - pair for sale
I have a pair of HZJ73 axles for sale in the Houston area.

The rear axle is full floating and both axles feature disk brakes. Factory front and rear e-locker and electric locking front hubs. These axles are a great way to upgrade your old drum axles to disks and you get a sturdier full floating rear, factory locking front and rear diffs and electric front hubs in the bargain. The axles are 24v so you will have to obtain a voltage converter to use them on a 12v system (I have one I can sell you).

I will palletize them but you will have to arrange pickup and shipping from ZIP code 77382.

$2000 for the pair. I do not want to sell them separately.

I'm confused. You say:
"Factory front and rear e-locker"
and then
"factory locking rear diff" with no mention of the front...

Are these front and rear electric lockered?

Sorry for the confusion. They have both front and rear lockers. I'll go back and edit the description.

Diff gear ratio is... 4.11?
Voltage converter cost is...?
What other electrical parts and/or work are needed to make these functional?
Can the front electric locking hubs be swapped out for manual hubs?
What is the diff output flange bolt pattern? Will these mate up to USA spec driveshafts?

The diffs are 4.11

The voltage adapter is around $190 online but I'll sell it for $175

All that is needed is the adapter - there are kits that enable you to convert them to cable lockers instead if you prefer.

You can convert the hubs to manual locking hubs but it is a little involved as the wiring for the hubs runs through a hole where one of the manual locker attachment screws would go. I was planning on leaving them electric.

The bolt pattern is the same as my FJ55 so I assume that it is the same as other LC drive shafts.

Yes... they seem to be a GREAT deal... and all of the answers were right!

I'm not going to try to make this happen for me because shipping to NY would no doubt be a killer. If I was local though I'd be all over this....

Disc brakes... lockers... full float.....all Toyota... Arrrrggghhhhh

i know i would be selling for WAY more...
maybe a road trip is in order... Texas ain't that far from Canucksville...

Well I suppose that even if the shipping were what... $500-600? They are still a rockin' deal... if one has the skills and/or $ to get them under a 40...

i am going to check out shipping tomorrow... that is a deal that is hard to pass up... espec since i have a few 70s sitting here...

if you want to ship your 40 up here with the axles i can get them under your 40 (for a price)

Drive it up to beautiful Canada, stay over night and drive home with the old axles in the back!
Not gonna happen but a nice fantasy nonetheless.

LOL!!
one day install? hummm, not likely...
but should you be in the area...

Indeed that is a sweet price IMO. Bump for you - good luck!

well, the package arrived.
my thoughts:
the packaging was overkill, nice.
the diffs were exactly as described, nice
the transaction went very smoothly, nice
the goods were shipped promtly, nice

my rating for Pigboy, excellent gentleman to deal with, honest and trust worthy.
