Well it is time to put new shoes on my 07' Taco.
I have been researching the interweb, and stuff on Mud.
You know, I don't think anyone has mentioned Mickey Thompson tires here, or Dick Cepek, Why is that?
I'm thinking about MT Baja ATZ3
Dick Cepek Fun Countries
Cooper Discoverer S/T Maxx
Falken Wildpeak A/T 3W

Any of you guys care to weigh in with experience on these choices.

Mt and dc imho have always wore fast ... check the rating ... maybe they’ve improved

I had cooper ... the s/t ... not maxx ... the compound is the same but the maxx as I recall had stronger sidewalls and 10 ply not 8ply like the st

They were good tires... the st’s shortcoming was the sidewall flex/roll around corners ... I hear the maxx corrects that issue

Falken I have no clue :)

I was also looking at the Nitto Ridge Grappler, but wondering if they are more "Name" than a serious tire.

Yokohama recently release the Geolandar X AT tire, which comes with a 45k mileage warranty, that I am looking to replace on my 05 100 series.
