Finally my childhood dream came true at the age of 40. Two weeks ago I purchased 2000 LX470 from Auto Nation auction. Took a risk and print out the carfax which showed 1 owner and maintained by a local certified lexus repair shop. Received it on last Monday.
Originally sold in Houston and till now it’s here. Carfax showed all the repair work and maintenance done in a timely manner. Again thanks for accepting me at this group and howdy from Houston, TX.

Thanks. If you share some info where you take it for maintenance that will be nice. My rig is leaning at the front driver side more than passenger side. Hopefully to meet you one day. Stay safe.
I do most of the work on the cruiser myself but there's always jobs that I can't do, don't have the equipment for, or simply don't want to fuss with.
Here's some Houston info for you:
@ibrahim83 is a local independent mechanic that owns a few land cruisers and always takes great care of my truck.
@duggy owns a shop that specializes in toyota 4wd. I have not yet used him but feel great recommending him, considering all that I have heard.
@ranma21 is a parts distributor and always has a lot of OEM parts in stock.
If you aren't able to make it to those guys, here are some non-Toyota shops that do great work and I really trust:
