^ yeah.

I dont really want to swap the engine, then I have to pay for a new engine on top of a rebuild.

I want good all around power and good low end torque, I plan on most likely running a H55F and a split case with 4-1 gears.

Mace, have you done anything internal to your engine or is it just a stock 2F with a T4 on it?

Peace Out

I simply bolted on a Garrett T04 to a very old tired 2F

Pulles better with 4.11's and 38's than it did normally aspirated with 3.70's and 32's...

Head work will kill the 2F's low end grunt.
Milling the head works very well for some, but also has a tendency to make engines that over heat easily.

If you are concerned about oiling get one of these..

Vendor: Moroso Performance Products, Inc.
Product Line: Moroso Accumulators
Material: Aluminum
Finish: Bare
Length: 13 in.
Diameter: 3 in.

It could save your engine

Aluminum, 1.5 qt. capacity, 13 in. long x 4 in. diameter, oil accumulator II

The Moroso Oil Accumulator just might save your engine from damage by giving you 1 1/2 extra quarts of oil in reserve. Plumbed into the pressurized side of your oiling system, the Accumulator uses compressed air to force its oil reserve into your engine when the oil pressure drops below normal. When the pressure gets back to normal, that reserve oil is forced back into the Accumulator, ready for the next emergency. It can help build horsepower by allowing you to use less oil in the crankcase, reducing crank windage without the danger of engine damage due to lack of oil. You can even use the Accumulator as a manually operated pre-lubing device during startup. 13 in. long x 3 in. in diameter. Includes rubber-lined mounting brackets.

Sold individually.

After using the Moroso oil accumulator in a street car, I would not recomend it.

When pressure is low the accumulator dumps it's oil, but when pressure returns the accumulator has to get filled before sending oil to the rest of the engine. So you get kind of yo-yo oil pressure, until it fills back up.

I put a cable on it to turn it on and off, but I only used it for pre-lube.

good to know!
