Hello,
I have a 2000 100 series with the 4.7 it has 290k miles on it and I want to sell it. In the past 3k miles I have done the following:
New tires
Old man emu torsion bar
old man emu shocks and springs
old man emu UCA
wheel bearings
cv axels
steering rack
power steering lines
coolant hoses
thermostat
spark plugs
PCV Valve
LCA ball joints and bushings
front diff bushings and ball joints
trac bar
rear control arms
swag bars (front and back)
rear brake calipers
tie rods
Doug Thorley headers
All fluid changes (except transmission)
Those are all the major repairs I can think of. All done within 3k miles of now. I have also painted the frame with POR-15. It was a Cali truck but since it lived in the northeast for 2 years some rust did develop but everything was taken care of and painted properly. I have sunk so much time and money into this truck that I am not just sick of it. I just need a ballpark to list at to see what I can get for it. Thank you.

sounds like you've taken care of a lot of common issues, and done some nice upgrades. LC prices are all over the place, and things like what color it is , how the leather seats look, how clean the inside is, and how much rust it has have a big impact on price.
an 01 with nearly 300k miles, usually sells in the 8k-11k range from what I;ve seen. but it the interior is mint, or it's a rare color like Thundercloud, it could fetch more

It’s the river rock mica green. It’s in great condition the leather and all. It’s has full wood grain interior the steering wheel and all. Has all the seats and all original service manuals and everything that came with the truck.

Resale value is based on supply and demand, not on what you’ve invested.

That’s a good list but don’t assume you can earn back routine maintenance. That’s like extra credit just for doing your homework. Upgrades might be worth a little bit for the right buyer. Receipts from a reputable shop help, especially for big ticket items like a TB/WP or steering rack.

For me, the frame repaint may be a red flag. I’d rather see rust than see some paint where rust might be hiding (unless it’s just a single spot on an otherwise clean vehicle). Unfortunately a lot of the work we do maintaining our trucks is for us, not buyers

Check classic.com for actual sold prices and comps. As others have mentioned, prices are all over the place - many factors.

In general, most maintenance & repairs put into a vehicle aren't going to raise the value much on the used market. If you are going to invest to fix up a car you are better off keeping it. Otherwise, always sell a vehicle before putting any more time/money into it.

I am shopping for another (either for my brother or 16 year old) here and there, I'd be interested to see pics and to know roughly where it's located.
