Cars don't have souls. Only people. Cars are hunks of metal, some put together better than others. I would rate the 250 as middling at best.

Cars can be art forms, no different than music, painting, architecture, etc. Does a car experience the afterlife after getting crushed? Absolutely not. But, the designer of a car can make something extraordinary, thereby transferring some human "soul" to an object. My personal GX has been modified as an expression of my personality - transferred to that object - making it unique. Some cars are so well done - so much of the designer's "soul" transferred to them - they don't need to be modified. And that's definitely not a 250.
Perhaps it's the analogous to having been with lots of different women, but never having been in love?Goodness. I guess I've never thought about a car being an expression of one's personality. Don't get me wrong, though, I love cars and buy them way too often. Last I counted, I've owned 51 different cars over the last 43 years. Everything from Ford to Ferrari and a bunch in between.
End of story.Wondering if the amount of soul is inversely proportional to the amount of automatic doo-dads and computer operated gizmos. I'm pretty sure that my FJ55 has plenty of soul, but it does lack a brain. Everything is manual, even the choke. It is modified a bit as we've been together 39 years, I figured out early on that she has a soul AND a personality...how much? A handful.
