Con-Ferr locking box behind the seats:

I bought Macs Tie down track system and I use it to secure my ARB fridge and other loose items. I am thinking about getting Swagoffroads ammo can locking mount for my tool box. Its a clean system and you can add a pad lock.

something like this .. and still couple of extra ones here and there ..

I picked four of theses stackable boxes up a few years back at a Princess Auto. I use one for my recovery stuff, one for tools, and another for misc stuff.

Should have been more clear. I want to prevent the theft of the tools and keep them in the truck. Security lock boxes is what I was thinking of or weldable cage with swing door made of heavy wire. And no, I do not want to take the tools inside since the space is shaed with other roomates.

Hi all,

I bought a heavy-gauge plastic tool box a decade or so ago at Lowe's and bolted it to the floor of my FJ40 behind the front seats. It has spots for two padlocks. I carry spare parts, tool kit, etc. there all of the time.

Regards,

Alan
