how do I remove this piece from rain gutter? (1 Viewer)

I've searched the forums and youtube... Can't find a name for it or any instructions.

I got the JIS bolts out. I can't seem to get it apart to access the inside bolts.

Flat screwdriver and pry gently. They are 2 pieces clamshells together. Right in this seam.

No luck. Just scratching up my paint trying.

They slide apart. Those are two pieces like poster above stated. There are screws inside that hold one side to the hard top

Yes I am just struggling to get them apart. I used rust penetrant between the pieces. They won't slide apart.

My suggestion if possible. It helps me loosen nuts and bolts.

I use a rubber mallet and tap on the end length wise. They are a pain to break free but, you’ll get it.

Did you ever get this? I remember being stumped on this for a while and when I finally got it I was a little embarrassed at how easy it really was. It's sort of like a clam shell that you can just pry open.

Yes, still stuck. I can't seem to pry it open. I'm afraid I'll only get it at the cost of the paint.
