how are the Shepard aluminum radiators doing?

Like I said before, if anyone is in immediate need do a search on 3aa land cruiser radiator. Turned up ah even cheaper rad. By 40$, and they are in stock.

I have a 1993 80, but please keep us posted on how it works out for you. It sounds like i barley make the cut if i wanted to order one. These people will be making quite a bit of money if they are manufacturing a product that actually works and fits in our rigs for such a great price!! Subscribed as well!

Radiator ...

I bought one of these a while back after I came across it in a thread here.
So far so good. It's been more than two years, daily driven.

Interesting thing though, I bought it for about $100 excluding shipping.
Other web sites had it for more or less at that time...

i just got my radiator in. i will take pics and post soon. so far it looks like a good radiator. i will put in my 97 i hope it works wth stock mounts if not i will just make it fit.

Got mine as well. It's either a silla or the place selling them in China jacked a bunch of silla boxes. Looks good.

the radiator is 3 row with 1/2 tubes. radiator was very straight. i will add more pics if i have to custom make mounts for it to fit. if it fits with stock 97 mounting hardware i will probably just reply with text only.

Is that the ONLY thing that makes this year radiator different from the post '95 units - this top hose fitting?

Missed that. SHouldn't matter where you fill from huh?

I wouldn't think so.... The overflow tube can be extended over to the passenger side so that shouldn't matter, and it might make it easier to fill the system as well.

good thing is im putting chevy 5.3l v8 in my LC. no need for hose tapping. i will install it in a few weeks but will get back to here

No idea if they are interchangeable with 97s.

Don't know but the Toyota mechanics here say they are interchangeable.
