how are the Shepard aluminum radiators doing?

Never heard of them, but the price is right.

There was a thread a while back about a custom order of these, but the price was about 4x as much.

I'm about to order. Lifetime warranty.. Just never heard of it and i'm a little sketched out. Wonder if it has everything it needs, ya know?

Maybe they advertised the wrong price. Lifetime warranty for an aluminum rad seems decent at that price.

By searching the part number I found one on a different site for $139 or so, plus 9.99 for the life time warranty.

After reading this thread today, I was curious about these rads, so I inquired. This is the email thread from Shepard today:

I wrote:
I see you make a radiator for a 1992 toyota land cruiser. Will you make
an aluminum radiator for a 1995 toyota land cruiser?

They replied:
Hello yes we actually do make an all aluminum however we are out of
stock on it and it takes about a month for us to get more in stock since
they are imported from china sorry for the inconvenience

I replied:
thanks for the quick reply...the radiator for the 1992 is different than
the radiator for the 1995...can you get the rad for the 1995??

They replied:
Hello, oh ok no actually for the 95 we do no make an all aluminum
radiator for it sorry about that

Sooo...I guess they are temporarily out of them, and they don't make one for the 1994-1997 80 series

Too bad... the price is great...let us know about the quality.

Like I said before, if anyone is in immediate need do a search on 3aa land cruiser radiator. Turned up ah even cheaper rad. By 40$, and they are in stock.
