Howdy MUDers,
NOW SELLING FOR PARTS OR $400 FOR COMPLETE ENGINE? Let me know what you need
The intake manifold is in perfect condition. No cracks. Appears to be identical to a 2F but I am sure experts will chime in. Definitely mounts up to the bolt pattern on a 2F I have.

The valve lifter rod in the #1 piston has a strange head on it (see pic)...doesn't match the others. One of the lifter rods is bent. Explains why the engine was running rough when we pulled it. Compressions were all in the 80's. All valves move smoothly. needs a re-build.

Good, detailed pics.

The oddball pushrod is small block chevy. I run across those once in a while.

Bent pushrods are usually caused by something sticking, either a lifter or a valve. The last time it happened to me it was a valve.

If you part out I’d be interested in some head bolts if you have some in decent shape.

Okay. Let me give this a couple of weeks to see what interest there is. Only one of the head bolts had rust on it. All of the others are in great shape.

If you were closer, I would have moved on this already.

If you part out, I’d be interested in the thermostat housing, fan blade (if not cracked), alternator mounting brackets.

Are you coming to the Lonestar Toyota Jamboree in Gilmer TX May 2-5th? I could bring the motor if you are going or know someone from your area that is.

There is a small chip out of one of the blades. I have the Tstat cover and will find the alternator today and confirm i have the bracket.

Gosh, I haven’t been to TX since 2011. I miss those people from time to time. GLWS

I guess I should qualify that...I have an F. I would need to research if this would match.
Okay, let me know. Both are for sale for the cheapest price around. I have a 75 with a 2F and the exhaust is definitely a little different on this 1.5F They are still mounted together and I would prefer to sell them that way. Plenty of experts on here that can confirm the fitment.

I think I'm going to pass. I'm a little concerned with the broken ear on the part that mounts to the pipe. Thanks!

this engine is about to be taken to the scrap metal place. Will accept low ball offers for any of the parts, so let me know.

Interested in the harmonic balancer and the head bolts. Should fit in a medium flat rate box, but the pulley will need to be well padded. Carrier just ruined a nice one from shmukster last month.☹️

Maybe in a second box the rocker arm assembly and the oil cooler tube.

Will do Mark. Let me get it all removed and boxed up. I have a UPS account so can get a quote for you on the rocker arm assembly box.
I will send you a DM with the details.

BTW - I just helped my buddy Mike M. here in Friendswood install the carb you rebuilt for his FJ60. Fired right up on the first crank and running great. The spring that pulls the throttle linkage back is weak so it is idling a little high. I adjusted the set screw but it seems that spring is just too weak. Do you have replacements for that or should we hit up partsouq or the Japanese sites?
