Is the chrome on the "floor" of the inside still intact? That's why I'd be interested if primary doesn't respond...
On mine, that chrome is "de-lammed/gone" I can't tell in the photos of yours.

Looks totally intact to me. Check out this video I made to show it in detail. I think the PO replaced this one in 2016 based on records I got when I purchased the LC.
