Hoping to avoid problems

I have an '89 4Runner with a knock. I picked up a '95 3.0 engine with a blown head gasket and 125 k miles.

I'd like to rebuild the '95 engine and put it in my '89.

It looks like there are some subtle differences. What issues may I run into?

If I strip the '95 engine down to long block will everything from the '89 bolt up?

I know you'll have to use the late model timing belt idler stuff, but other than that you should be able to swap all your accessories onto the later long block.
