What goes here? Just finished frame off on a 70. I bought this emblem thinking it would fit. No dice. Stuck with holes do I drill more and put on?

I'd drill a couple new holes and mount the emblem. If you're filling holes and repainting the hood in the future, extra holes won't be significantly more work. When you thought the emblem would fit, you decided you liked it... Go ahead and mount it.

Yeah, that's what your new frame off needs-4 non oem holes in the very front of the hood....

Take the hood off, fix the holes, repaint. Do it right.

I think this is the right answer, if you like why not used it at this point and refill it later. I personally don't think it would hurt the value. Most high dollar cruisers seem to sell it to people who don't know what OEM and what's not. Me I won't use it because there is a Toyota emblem already in the grill. May use one of these on a early FJ40 but those did not have the Toyota emblem in the grill but a stamped a LAND CRUISER bezel.

I bought Landcruiser badges a couple of weeks ago thinking they'd go in the factory holes... nope. So I filled all but one of the old holes and drilled new ones, using the leftover old holes to line them up. That's how she goes boys.

Out of curiosity, what year do you think this is off?
