Hello everyone. Just found out I have to move overseas and contemplating on whether to sell or ship my 2000 LC. I have done a lot of work on the vehicle and don't really know what price I would ask for if I decided to sell? Just kinda disappointed because I bought the vehicle 2 months ago and have done all the work with brand new parts. See below:
Total of work and parts equals $24, 223.22. This does not include the purchase of the vehicle. And I know I cannot expect to recoup all of the money in a sell, but I do have all the paperwork to backup.
The first section of work has been done at a Toyota dealership and is under warranty:
-New 710 Battery
-Replaced the valve cover gasket
-Replaced power steering pump, reservoir, and hoses
-Power Steering fluid flush
-Had the front and rear differentials serviced
-Transfer case serviced
-Left and right CV axles replaced with new boots
-Replaced Fuel Filter and Oil Change
-Front wheel bearings replaced
-Had all Head cylinder, throttle body, exhaust pipe, intake manifold gaskets replaced and internals cleaned of the cylinder head and rear main housing.
-New Radiator
-New Temp Sensor and O2 sensor
-ALL FIVE door lock actuators replaced
-new spare tire carrier
Work done at 4Wheel Parts:
-Old Man Emu Suspension (Sport Shocks, NitroCharger Sport Shocks, Medium rear coils, Torsion Bar)
-Straightened steering wheel
-4 Methode Wheels with BF KO2 tires 275/70R17 (1000 miles on them)
-ARB Bull Bar
-XRC 9.5k lbs winch
-Front Tie rods replaced
Misc Work:
-Had small rust above windshield, so I had a body shop replace the windshield (broke taking out), sand out all rust and repaint.
-Had all body scuffs on vehicle sanded and repainted
-All door rocker panels repainted
-Basically the paint job makes the vehicle look brand new with zero rust anywhere on the truck (outside or under body as the truck has been a southern vehicle)
-Brand new Brakes and rotors on all wheels
-New Horn
-All lights replaced, headlights for low and high beam replaced with high intensity
-New Leather seat covers from IGEE
-New ABS Skid control module computer ($1800.00)
I know there is a ton more I am forgetting! I basically wanted to make this vehicle as solid as possible so it could run another 200k miles. Outside doesn't look as bas ass as other 100 series, but the internals are solid. Interior is nice and everything works on the vehicle except the dreaded light in the dash to let you know you're in drive. Had two people at the Toyota dealership ask if I would sell before I even considered it, never talked pricing though. Also, timing belt has been replaced twice, both at the appropriate mileage interval. Clean carfax and never been in an accident.
